Mrs. Ashton ~ Third Grade

3rd Grade / Welcome

Room 26

~ 2023-2024 ~

-Welcome to a brand new school year! I am so excited to welcome a new group of your amazing children into my classroom.

-Scroll to the bottom of the page to view our room 26 suggested school supply list!

--Be sure you check DoJo and Parent Square everyday!

-AR Home Connect- A parent letter will be sent home with the directions on how to sign-up and get emails and updates on your child's reading progress. We want to see all our students getting 80% or higher on AR comprehension tests. If they are not passing with 80% or higher they are reading books that are too hard OR they are rushing!

-3rd grade students should try and earn about 3 AR (reading) points each week. They should take a book home each night and bring it back to school the very next day. Books that are from home need to be checked for the proper level and to be sure it has a quiz.

- Start learning multiplication facts with your child as soon as possible! We will study everyday in class as well!

-LIBRARY- Room 26 will go to the library each week on Thursdays at 11:00. Students will get 3 to 4 four books each week.  Students are required to read a nonfiction picture book each week along with other books being read.

-DOJO, Email, or Parent Square are a great ways to get me a message--[email protected]
